Slightly related, anyone else bothered by the "flying" animations some Pokémon have?

I mean, the flapping animations like Golbats are cool but it looks weird as fuck when Pokémon are clearly flying forward but stay static in the same place like pic related

Toxicroak, Darmanitan and Mr. Mime are great too.
I also like how luminous Inkay is in battle, but that's mainly the colour scheme at work.

On the whole though, most animations and models were dull and lifeless, GF need to look back at their models and animations from the Stadium and Colosseum games.
