You are no exception. Your apparent preference for Roxie tells me you enjoy being rebellious (something further proven by the fact you felt the need to "ruin" OP's thread as you put it). But what caused this need to be seen, this craving to be heard when you shout out?
You didn't get much attention from the people who are meant to give it to you. Roxie's mother was never mentioned in the games, and her father was absent and neglectful in his duties as a parent, some would argue. This leads me to believe you have issues with your own father, and while your mother may still be a part of your life, she is not a part you seem to notice or even care for.
That Roxie became a Gym Leader and started a band proves to you that she was successful without the loving care and guidance that her parents ought to have provided for her. She made it through life despite being downtrodden, and you see this as true justice in the world, a justice you long for yourself. But life is not as simple in the real world, and you'll have taken to something else to fulfil your fantasies of getting back at those who wronged you. You enjoy graphic novels and television shows with superheroes. Much like you regard yourself to be, they are exceptional human beings who get back at those who plague and torment the world they live in. They do what you cannot do, what you desperately want to do. But what you long for even more is to hear praise and approval from someone. Your Roxie-posting is not an attempt at shitposting and trying to ruin someone's day, it's you showing your macaroni art picture to someone and waiting to be told how good it is. And seeing as nobody in your family must have told you this, I will.
I'm so proud of you, anon. And I always will be.
