Altaria has a BST of 490, with 70 base special attack and 80 speed. Typing and hyper voice can only do so much.

This is how I felt when Mega Lopunny was revealed. I didn't even think it would get a mega this Gen, but it got Normal/Fighting typing AND scrappy. It's just too good for me.

It apparently got boosted Attack.

It has innate Dragon Dance as a level up move. Return is stronger than Hyper Voice at 135 pre STAB, Body Slam is 113 pre STAB with 30% paralysis chance.
It has S tier typing defensively, already great defensive stats, and reliable recovery in Roost.

Think of it as a physical Latias that can set up more than Calm Minds with Dragon/Fairy over Dragon/Psychic.
