I'm very pleased with M-lop but there was no reason to believe there would be non-gen 3 megas in a gen 3 remake. I figured they'd save gen 4 megas for gen 4 remake

guys here me out, castform gets a mega that involves a random weather ability each time he is sent into battle. his body becomes that of a force of nature i.e. a giant hurricane, tornado/blizzard, sun(ball of fire), tsunami, dust storm whatever, he gets an increased 100+ in two stats depending on which form he takes.

It was a reasonable assumption = I mean not necessarily hoenn only but rather hoenn dex mons.

Machamp and Tentacruel for example could reasonably get megas.

What it's really making me wonder is how many megas we're ultimately going to have for this generation. I was originally expecting the starters, the pseudos and a couple of others, but it would be really weird if we just got a single non-Gen3 mega in the form of Lopunny.

My hope is that we'll end up seeing more than we first anticipated and that there will be enough good ones to balance out things that initially plagued the metagame like m-kanga, gengar and blaziken. So far, it looks like salamence and altaria (especially the latter) will help to balance blaziken and sableye might help with kanga a bit. What are all of your thoughts on that?
