Just because these haven't received their own Mega evolutions yet doesn't mean that they are permanently exempt from this treatment.
When gen5 gave us no remakes, there were a couple of anons claiming that GF doesn't give a shit about 'Hoenbabbies' anymore and wants to stick to main course instead of reaching back to the past.
GF plans their actions entire years ahead and shelves entire concepts until there happens to be the best moment to capitalize on them. Mega evolving is a fresh gimmick, yet it will need something to bring variety to it - maybe this is why stone evos have yet to receive their mega formes?
