Ionize

Then they should take Refrigerate and Pixilate, which already exist and insert them in the Ability 2 slot of the appropriate evolution of Eevee. (And yes, I know that would mean reassigning Sylveon's Dream World ability.)

Eevee is a normal type that has Adaptability as its second ability, but the slot's empty for all its evolutions. Making their normal moves change to their new types is the perfect embodiment of their adaptation. Furthermore two of the worst ones (Flareon and Leafeon) would now have unique niches: STAB priority for their types with enough attack to make it count.

Dark-type mons have less to do with nighttime and the Moon than ever with Fairies having been added, shadows have more to do with Ghosts. (Esp. Genger) I like Deviate, it sounds like someone went down the wrong road in life or did the same amount of damage with an alternate, underhanded, method.
