Evasion is now a visible stat on pokemon that can be IV bred and EV trained. How does this change pokemon.

There'd have to be more options for lowering or negating evasion then.
Defog, Lock On, Mind Reader and Haze aren't cutting it. Even some passive Evasion dropping abilities or things similar to No Guard.

I never realized how widespread that ability is.
Every Pokemon that gets it has a better option though, but I guess the metagame would adapt.

It's not that widespread, only 19 evolution families get it. Some of those 19 are only on NFE pokemon. And pretty much every mon that gets it is pretty bad.
