Destiny Knot is good for your 5/6 IV parent. I have a 6 IV jap Ditto with a destiny knot forever in the day care to MM easily.
The other parent, in my case the non-ditto, usually holds an everstone to pass on the desired nature

I tend to fill up 5 boxes and then hatch them all. It reduces the time you spend flying/traveling between places to collect or hatch eggs.

Oh yeah, different Pokes have different number of steps to hatch. Most have like 5000 something, psuedos usually have double that. You can find each pokemon's egg steps on Serebii. You're right though, your Talonflame will help decrease the egg steps needed and Hatching Power can also stack onto that.

Because all shiny pokemon would have retarded IVs. Shininess was determined by IVs then, which is why breeding with a shiny parent(who can pass on their IVs) would increase the chances.

It's far better this way unless you want to get fucked with 0 or 8 in HP for all shiny pokemon.

This is what I do. It never really seemed like it saved more time to lay a boxfull of eggs, fly to Lumiose, then go back to the Pokemon center every time you hatch five, release, and swap out for new ones, just to go back to Route 7 again and gather up even more eggs. It's much easier to stay in one location and use the PC in the daycare center to release your hatches.

Id recommend using a japanese 6iv ditto (different regions from your own increase the chance of a shiny pokemon) with a 6iv haxorus if possible, just use an ever stone on the pokemon with the nature you want to pass down and a destiny knot on the other. After that, just hope

but if you have 2 adamants will the offspring always have the same nature? I remember reading that everstone made it a 50% chance, but every single egg I've had is adamant, so I'm wondering if it's 100% if both parents have the same nature
