I'm kind of burned out on UU right now. It's essentially a stall player's wet dream with very few offensive options that can actually break Slowbro/Aromatisse/Amoonguss/Mew. I'm torn on whether I want Volcarona to stay or not, since it can easily set up and rock a good portion of the walls in UU, but it's really shitty to take on with an offensive team since it's so bulky. I love how UU is run, but the metagame itself has been turning me off more and more lately, while OU has been getting better and better.

So I would probably toss Smogon Doubles into God Tier if anything. Maybe just move UU down into Good Tier. OU is also pretty fun right now, so I wouldn't call it anything less than Okay.

UU is most definitely not God tier. It's stall: the meta right now. Fuck that. And you don't give OU enough credit. Everyone likes to hate on it becasue it's the cool thing to do here but when you compare it to shit like NU or RU it's not nearly as bad. NU and RU are both retarded. RU has some broken shit like Yanmega that needs to go. Same with NU, every game is either Feraligatr or Chicken Pass. At least in OU at high ladder you seem some cool teams.

OU is definitely up in Okay Tier. RU and NU are in Okay tier as well. UU should be in Good tier. And for God tier, there really isn't anything I'd put in God tier this gen tbh. Everything is just slightly fun, nothing really sticks out at all.

A metagame is more than just the mons you can use. It's the environment that is created around the best things in the tier. UU plays nothing like OU, even if you can use UU mons in OU. For example, you wouldn't use Raikou in UU at all because it's shit there, but in OU it fills a niche with an Assault Vest and HP Ice to put a stop to Genie spam.

That's because UU is run by a streamlined council instead of a council + general meritocratic vote. Shit got quickbanned early on and now they're testing for reincorporation. The quickbans were necessary to make a playable metagame early on, since there's a lot of shit that's UU by usage but completely borked when actually used in that tier. Tornadus-T, Crawdaunt, and Hawlucha spring to mind as the worst offenders.
