Horde Training is way more efficient sure, but Super Training was pretty fun imo

I'm sure it will be back, it let you track, reset and fine-tune EVs, plus it gave you evolution stones. Would be silly to lose unless they replace it with something.

This. maybe Super training was stressful as hell but that EV viewer is godsend and actually let you keep an strict control over the training.

I feel like if they really streamlined it the Poketch could be the best add-on in the game, but >GameFreak, so we'll probably never get it perfected.

I've noticed a pattern when it comes to features being cut.

All of the features that get cut between games are features that aren't related to battling mechanics somehow.

Except with Super Training you have to pay attention and only get about 20 EVs per minute
With hordes you can just go on autopilot and get about 100 EVs per minute.
The only use for Super Training is when you have non-252/252/4 spreads to meet certain KOs, speed tiers etc, which to be fair is what you should be doing anyway.

Super Training is guaranteed to come back because its incredibly useful for VGC players to get that specific EV spread for their pokemon instead of farming for wings or fighting specific pokemon, which is time consuming. And since VGC is one of the only things GF gives a shit about, who are they to take that away from us?

But who has time for drugging your mons, if you skip that it's 5 battles, still much faster than Super Training.

And nobody should bitch about not wanting 252/252 spreads, if you aren't the least bit brain dead you can simply use some math and logic to get what you need.
