>>20445418Resposting what I just posted in the suspect thread on the matter:
This may have been asked many times in the thread so far, but why is Mawile not allowed on the suspect ladder? I can understand why Aegislash wasn't allowed in its suspect test since it was so ubiquitous and kept lots of stuff in check, but I doubt enough people have played against Mawile to have a clear understanding of how broken it is and how it affects playstyles and teambuilding strategies. Banning Mawile does very little to affect the tier as a whole except remove an extremely potent threat that could become a problem if it gains popularity.
>Because that's how Suspect testings have been always been. Not to seem anti-establishment or anything, but I honestly think it doesn't work very well in this case if people aren't also required to get a certain ranking on the normal ladder. Theorymonning is all well and good, but there's a chance people who are attempting to get the reqs might not actually understand the position they're supporting very well. It can certainly be assumed that people who are able to get the reqs on the suspect ladder are also capable of getting high on the regular ladder where Mawile is more common, but if you look at the stats from last month, Mawile's usage is only high at the top of the ladder.
Maybe I just want to see people from a certain board on a certain website get crushed by their waifu while blindly crusading for it using the new flavor of the month BP team. I also think having Mawile on the suspect ladder is more conducive of an actual testing environment given the impact a ban would make.
And yes, I want the waifu crusaders on /vp/ to get assraped by Mawile so they can realize just how retarded their stance is.
