Emerald, and I actually just missed the bulk of the Pokemon hype. Mum only let me get a GBA to help tide me over for the long car rides to my dad's house when they divorced.
Being born in 1996 is suffering.
Still, I temporarily gave it up for, like, a day when I was ten. I've never really grown out of Pokemon, but perhaps it's because I haven't been around for enough of it.
