This means if you have to draw a realistic geodude you draw a rock with rock arms and a rock face, not a fucking toad. And if you have to draw a realistic Flygon, you draw an insectoid dragon, not just a lizard with wings.
I do appreciate the originality in some artistic liberties he takes, and sometimes they're even kind of necessary just because the original design might be just way too fucking bizarre to do it plainly, but many times he takes it way too far to be considered realistic drawings of that pokemon. He turns them into completely different things.
