I love Mega Audino's design, and I hated Mega Slowbro's but I'm coming around to it.

The one mega I really don't like so far from a design perspective is Mega Lopunny. They took the original's ears - which conveyed that it's a brawler in addition to a playboy expy and a makes for a great overall design - and did THAT to it.

They were huge and solid. It addition to looking like buffed-out arms, they gave Lopunny's otherwise fey design a sense of weight and solidity that's needed for a physical fighter like it.

It still has buff arms where it used to, though the way sugi did the art makes it look otherwise. And its fluff was just that, fluff. It was never used to fight and just there to make it look pretty and wasn't solid at all. It's new tied up ears actually give it the ability to do what you describe.
