>>20482601>mfw it works>>20485458Inverse Battles produce a completely different metagame, since suddenly every member the second most common type in the game has a 102 BP Physical STAB move with perfect coverage and no drawbacks. And most of the physical walls with comparable bulk to Avalugg are weak to Normal there. And there aren't any 120 BP Physical Ice-type moves for Physical sweepers to 2HKO Avalugg with.
Regular Avalugg is crippled by shit abilities, shit Special bulk, and a shitty typing for a Defensive Pokemon. Inverse Avalugg has an amazing defensive type and doesn't really have to worry about the other two things because it stops Physical attackers cold.
Cloyster and CB Mamoswine are about the only things that can beat Inverse Avalugg with Physical attacks.
