Well considering all the news spam in the past few days and what little effort people were putting into bumping the TCG general, I don't doubt the TCG General could easily drop to page 10.

Even Binder Guy seemed like he was running out of steam despite the fact 4 generals ago, the thing lasted almost 2 weeks under bump limit.

Yes, having 2 Strong Energy on a single Pokemon would increase damage by 40 total.

I am hype as I'll ever be for a person who doesn't have any packs to open, but with bought up a lot of cards with my flashfire packs in hopes to resell them for furious fists.

Me neither. Ditto seems rather useless as usual. I suppose there is a fair deal of Colorless Attacks, but at the same time whenever cards say "You still need the Energy required", its just something I can't really see myself using. We'll never get Jungle Set Ditto again with its "Rainbow Energy" making ability.

Not excited about the special Psychic Energy, but 0 retreat is always good, so its usable.

The Zubat line seems weak. Even though it can be run in virtually anything, and 0 cost with the stadium, a 4-4-4 line means 200 damage through abilities alone and while i suppose that's a good amount, when Pokemon EX have 180 HP, the weak attacks they have aren't going to be enough to make up for it. I suppose its supposed to be combined with AZ in the same set so you can continue to play the evolutions as Devolution Spray will be out.

Gengar/Mega Gengar work with the stadium as well. 2 for 60 and poison isn't bad, and with the Psychic Energy, you can have other 0 Retreat Psychic (or other) types to take the hit and return Gengar for another hit, though hit and run tactics seemed to have worked best for Ninjask/Shedinja decks. The Mega can 2 for any attack the opponent has in play, but you know how megas are. Depends on this whole "Spirit Link" nonsense and what it is to see if it'll help Megas, though I still wish the current "Pokemon EX -> Mega Pokemon EX" stuff just stops.

AZ returns Pokemon to the hand. Seems like a good match for Furious Fists' Dragonite EX. Play Dragonite EX. Get Attacks off. When its weak, play another Dragonite EX, then use AZ to return the weakened one to prepare for another strike from the hand. Also as mentioned, seems good for the Zubat line.

I was running out of steam because I was in the middle of nowhere.

If I wanted to do a booster pull report I'd have to spend an entire day just to pick up booster packs and, if I wasn't tired out from all the traveling, post the results at midnight or the next day. And that's for packs from a fucking Target.[.spoiler]

I'm gonna be running a deck with Lucarios/Machamp for sure. Furious Fists Machamp is pretty good, it might be shitty to waste bench space for it (and have the space for it's pre-evos + Rare Candies) but it's free 20 damage that stacks and works for Machamp too. It's attack is okay too (3 fighting for 80 and resistant damage) so I'm pretty excited.

Actually Japanese cards were legal in the Nintendo era as well. However, it naturally led to abuse as some knob thought it was a good idea to have a 100% Japanese deck and it eventually caused TPCi to enforce the current "Home Language Only" rules

Welp, I guess i'm fucked for tonight.

Patcher was in an infinite download loop and didn't update anything
Uninstalled with a client installer i had to find elsewhere on the internet because PTCGO's official one continues to say "lol still in maintenance" and it doesn't have the link
The installer I found doesn't seem like it wants to update via the refresher.

I really have PTCGO sometimes... most of the time.

Observations
- There are slightly less Sylveon and Pangoro compared to all other non-holo rares, probably due to some of them are taken off to put in theme decks
- For some of the packs all the commons are somehow all the same type (either 5 different Colorless / Fighting Pokemons, don't know why)
- I opened 13 Poliwraths and 12 Victreebels *tableflip.gif*

Mind you the drawbacks changed a bit too for Special Darkness/Metal Energies back then

Darkness Energy

Before DP Block: Non Dark type / Dark Pokemon takes 10 damage in between turns
After DP Block: Damage Bonus effect doesn't work on non-Dark type Pokemon

Metal Energy

Before DP Block: Non Metal type does 10 less damage to opponent's Pokemon before applying W/R
After DP Block: Damage reduction effect doesn't work on non-Steel type Pokemon

So if they ever make another Special Darkness energy, it'll probably be similar to the old one plus some sort of bonus effect and the standard clause of "you basically can't attach it to a non-whatever type Pokemon"

Strong (F): +20 Damage
Herbal (G): Heals 30 Damage upon attachment
Mystery (P): -2 Retreat Cost

The below are just made up for fun on what could happen if they really decide to make one for each type

Iron (M): -20 Damage taken
Flare (R): Counts as 2 R when discarding for attacks
Shadow (D): +10 Damage and -10 Damage taken (?)
Static (L): Flip coin for Paralysis
Hydro (W): Remove/Prevents all Status Conditions

The Full Heal and Energy Switches are Japanese XY Promos.

Generally, releases outside japan are fatter than releases in japan because our sets tend to release Japanese Promos and Starter Deck inside the set itself.

Enhanced Hammer will most likely come back soon enough but I figure they're letting people have fun with their Seismatoads with DCE and Fighting Pokes with their Strong Energy before re-releasing it instead of releasing it in this set.

Hey. I've never played nor collected Pokemon tcg cards, but am a MTG player. Today I found a pile of cards for 4€ and though why the hell not.
It had few legendaries and I'm interested as a collector if they are worth anything and is there any site that has good price information about cards?

At that point though I'd assume you could use Gengar EX coming out in Phantom Gate, since Giratina's not like Ninetales and only gets +50 off your opponent having any status conditions at all.

Exactly, but then you run into problems by being weak to Dark-types 100% of the time (Just because Fighting becoming the new BDIF that doesn't mean Yveltal/Darkrai's going to completely drop from the radar or become old news).

And then there's the issue of Gengar EX only dishing out Poison with Dark Corridor.
