Why was so much stupid shit added in the remakes of HG and SS

Think for a second. if your other Rival Ethan forbids you to go to the Elite 4 unless you capture the legendary it's not so bad in HG because the Ecrutek Tower Maze is a joke

but the people who got SS they have to go thru fucking Whirl Islands

meaning they need

>Surf
