Gen 7 is odd, so it will focus entirely on new pokemon just like gen 1, 3, and 5 did.

We won't see another focus on existing evolution lines until gen 8.

While I'd love (and probably use) a split evo for Dragonite line as it would probably end up as some gorgeous Dragon/Fairy serpent covered in feathers, I highly doubt that GF would have the good sense to do it, and especially after this long.

Ledian and Sunflora are early game mons that have been lost causes for too long to merit another evo, and at this point it seems more likely that they'd get a mega instead. Jynx is and "okay" mon as is, so if it got an evo it would be a mega most likely as well.

Miltank/Tauros link would be nice but would make breeding logic weird so unlikely.

I'm all for finishing out the eeveelution types though.

I honestly think Gen 7 needs to be a "Fix stupid shit" gen where they consolidate things. Make Nidoran one species like Meowstic and just renumber the national dex. We'll deal with it. Give us the entire remaining bunch of eeveelutions somehow. Give some pokemon some more logical typings (Grass/Fairy Flabebe, Bug/Dragon Flygon, Steel/Fairy Jirachi, etc.) and to hell with precedent or what they've been previously. They've stuck to some weird stuff and nonsensical typings for a while now and they need to just man up and say "This gen is going to fix a lot of stuff that was messed up, deal with it." and I'd be thrilled.

This, after gen 6 I honestly don't care too much about new mons. I'd trade them for a complete polishing of the games mechanics and pokemon (and decent story, characters, locations, post-game, side quests/games etc etc)
