ITT: Weird evolutions

Now what's up with Remoraid and Octillery? There's other fish that turns into completely different things, but stuff like Magikarp to Gyarados atleast have some kind of reason.

Remoraid just becomes a squid. Not sharing anything in common.

The Golem line always confused me. I mean first it's a small rock creature, which turns into a bigger rock creature and grows legs. Okay, cool.

But then all of a sudden it turns into a lizard trapped inside a rock. Woosh, came out of nowhere.

Would love to see Graveller get a split evo, a bigger graveller with 6-8 arms. Golem appears more like sideline, more like the bellosom to the vileplum line.
