In doubles would be amazing. Pairef with wakeup slap user it would wreck everything. But they would need to nerf it somehow. Like minus in speed or defense.

Why does no one want a BST increase on Mega Slaking

It's like being offered a million dollars but turning it down for Walmart coupons

150/200/110/100/100/110 with Scrappy would do just fine thank you, because you already had to struggle with raising Slakoth and having to use regular Slaking in battle before

It's based on the fact that Sleep talk can only select Rest, so it's basically a Full restore on click.

The guy who made that was called tghost, reading his reams brought me into competitive pkm.
He is also the guy that set the competitive spotlight on Marowak, switching the meta to Skarmory. Good times.

Slaking already has a good BST of 670 which beats even most legends, throw 100 on that to make 770 and its practically Mega Mewtwo tier. Removing its ability for something even like Scrappy would automatically make it useful, to say UU but doing that AND throwing that stat buff would make it hit ubers in a heartbeat.

It would not even be that great since it misses a CB and all it gains is some defense and speed

What? Did rest recover help when already asleep in gen 2? Why select sleep talk at all if you're trying to PP stall?

why did they ever give regigigas that horrible ability anyways? its a fucking legendary, its supposed to be strong.

if you look at the fused kruyem's stats, they're just as good as regigigas's, and they even get a useable ability.

That would literally be worse than regular slaking in doubles. Regular slaking in doubles typically gets off an attack while its partner changes its ability one way or another. M-slaking as OP described would not be able to attack during the initial turn and would essentially just be a normal slaking after that. You add the fact that you'd only really be able to use worry seed/wake up slap, as opposed to normal slaking where you can not only get rid of truant, but give him a GOOD ability like simple, normal slaking wins in that case. Then the fact that you waste your mega slot, and slaking's item slot, and it would be even more predictable than normal slaking and phazing would be even more devastating because it would be asleep again

Like I said here>>20488738 how would this at all be better than regular slaking if there is no change to the BST? It would be worse because it can't use hit and run tactics with constant sleep, and can't run choice band or any other item. What do you mean "able to hit everything?"
