We know Game Freak doesn't really care about balance, but how could they (realistically) make these two less overpowered in Gen VII? Keep in mind that the focus would be their usage in doubles, not singles.

>Secondary effects of attacks used with Parental Bond only occur after the second strike and/or the second strike is only 1/4 as strong as the first.
>Shadow tag now only works until the user is switched out for the first time. When the pokémon switches back, the ability has no effect anymore.

Would this be enough to make them still useful, but not too strong for their own good? If not, what would you suggest?
