Heracross learned Bullet Seed and Rock Blast out of nowhere, Blastoise got the Pulses, Ampharos suddenly picked up Dragon Pulse, and now Lopunny gets High Jump Kick.
Plus, lots of really good exclusive moves later get handed out like candy. Megahorn used to "only make sense" for Heracross with its Bug-typing, now fucking everyone gets it.
Overall, the Boomburst case is very strange. Humming is obvious not explosive, but the prevalence of the move in the Flying egg group and the oddball case of Swellow are the main things that gives this pipe dream any credibility.
