I really want Curse and Earthquake as moves. I was thinking about

Earthquake
Powerwhip
???

But Longevity becomes a problem. Should I get rid of Powerwhip in favor of Mega Drain and have my fourth move be Leech Seed/Synthesis? What about Ingrain?

Yeah, Leech Seed gives you a constant source of healing since you can't use leftovers, sleep powder is a volatile status condition with 75% accuracy that shuts anything down

together they do what you want but much better. Anything that can't OHKO Venusaur (most things) gets put to sleep and then the health recovery does more for you than curse's single stage defense boost will. Plus it keeps you at a decent 80 base speed so you can outpace some of the slower/bulkier Pokemon and beat them.

I usually don't opt for giga drain due to poor coverage with the only type immune to sleep powder+leech seed so I swap one of them for HP fire.
