There's probably a million failed designs that never got approved.
So if you were to make your own unique Pokemon, wouldn't you want it to be something great?
Something that completely stands out, has a unique typing, etc?
I mean when we make fakemons here they always have something unique, and shit. Man, getting your 'mon into the game would be thrilling.

Look at the amount of fucking garbage there. Look at all these uninspired designs, all these mono types.
I mean it was excusable in the first gen, maybe even first two, since the whole thing was brand new, but what's the excuse for making garbage past that?
How does a Pokemon even get approved to make it into the game? Doesn't anybody step up at some point and go "well gee do we really need another pure water fish mon?"
