Does anyone know for certain yet if the Shiny Charm and Masuda Method stack when it comes to your odds of getting a shiny egg?

My previous Masuda method attempt, I got a shiny at 1200+ eggs, I had the shiny charm at this point, and on my current Masuda method attempt, I'm at about 400 eggs with no shiny yet.

Don't know man, I bred nine shiny mons with the Masuda method before the charm, and haven't got one since getting the charm, I've took breaks between several hunts and nothing.

What are the odds when both stack? 1 in how many? Like seriously, since getting the charm I've attempted to get at least five shinies, hatching at least 30 boxes of each. Most of my hunts prior getting the charm ended in the first 20 boxes

Last I saw (don't remember where), the odds of shiny charm + MM is 1/512 (~0.2%).

This means that you have a 50% chance of getting a shiny within the first 355 eggs, and a 90% chance within the first 1178 eggs. Probabilities weird like that.

Odds are about 1/512 with both stacked, but that doesn't mean you're guaranteed to get one after hatching 512 eggs. When I started MM breeding, I got my first shiny on the 13th egg, but I have hatched 700 eggs since and gotten none. Some people could hatch 12,000 eggs under the same conditions and still not get a shiny.

Shiny Chance is 1/~5000
MM is 1/~1020
MM+SC is about 1/~500
Some claim a rate of about 1/400 with MM+SC but that's more statistically speaking than purely mathematical.
