So I got Cyber Save Editor in the mail today.

The tragic thing is everytime I use PKHex it always ends up with a corrupt save file.

Anybody know how to fix this? I want to do giveaways for /vp/ but this shit is stopping me from doing so.

Did you actually start a game before you started editing?

Try the following:
*In-game, up+x+b, delete save file.
*Start a new save.
*Play until you are in your room in your pajamas.
*Save, close.
*Make a backup in CG editor to restore to in case this shit don't work.
*Try editing that save with pkhex.
*If you corrupt again, restore save, enable the "use Old advanced mode" option I added to the CG exe, try one more time.

Yes I did.
I was already had the first badge and was on my way to get the second one.

I kept restoring the backup save file with it.

Gen VI legality is pretty complicated, so if you must, don't pull a gameFAQs level of retardation (on an event mon, the people there fucked up the SID, memories, geolocation history, EC, AND PID.)

Try editing it without pkhex. Open advanced mode, change the first byte in your save to "0B", and hit apply. does that corrupt it?

I can't reproduce this and it's not a PKHeX error, it's a cybergadget error. I know the application is in Japanese, but do you get any problems when you try to use the unmodified exe?

They literally just run it through a mobile version of their online validator.

They don't eye-check shit. Can you check a hundred people's party by eye and retain your sanity?

TID/SID is random, and can be seen as a novelty. It's not inconclusive evidence that something was hacked; gen V could have 0/0, and people competed in VGCs with those IDs.

As someone who doesn't hack, I greatly appreciate the lengths you go to make it detectable and legal.Though I am curious upon reading about the EC. I find legality really interesting, and enjoy playing the "figure out what's wrong with the pokemon" that Hozu generally points out something was hacked on pokecheck.

I tried modifying a team of pokemon and it worked.

Well with my action replay I had this error where it wouldn't read on my laptop but it would on my desktop.
For some reason every time I installed the drivers on my laptop it would give me an error and even though it would recognize that my ar was plugged in and wouldn't let me do anything to it. I kept un/reinstalling and nothing. While on my desktop the drivers installed there made it work just fine...up till I dropped my ar and it broke :T
Til;dr drivers on my laptop wouldn't work but desktop would

But here is where it gets funny. I have to make sure the Jap save edited cart hits bank first before I use it on my Japanese 3ds. I have tried this shit three times and the results are the same. No bank=corrupt file, bank first=no corrupt file.

R4i dongle is pointless when you can do the same job with an AR.
Cyber will require a japanese catridge and console.
Powersaves has yet to allow injection/viable modification.
