Doubtful. Even with 100 more stats, he'd still be pretty underwhelming. Unless they did something like give him an ability that makes all hits critical.

Maybe a new ability called "Hoarder" (just spitballing names) that allows him to hold two items. He can hold his mega stone and Stick and his Mega's ability would be Super-Luck.

I think it would be fine if they'd give it an incredibly OP ability since even after mega evolving it doesn't have the best stats.

It should just get a normal evolution ffs. Giving Farfetch'd a mega is almost like giving a first stage starter a megas. Its base stats are too bad. And unlike Mawile or Sableye it doesn't even benefit from using its non mega form.

Keep those same stats

Ability: Forlorn Gambit.
Receives one random stat boost for every allied pokemon that has fainted at the moment it mega evolves. Is only triggered upon mega evolving. Stat boosts disappear if switched out.

I could see that working.
