Basically a worse version of CritDra. Focus Energy + Scope Lens means 100% crit chance and Sniper boosts crit damage even further. Personally I'd use the combination of Poison Jab / Knock Off instead of X-Scissor / Drill Run since the former gives Beedrill the best possible neutral coverage it can get with two moves, although it still misses out on Mons like Tyranitar and Mawile. The obvious problem with this set is that it requires both Focus Energy AND Agility boost to work, and you're not going to be pulling them off anytime soon with 65/40/80 bulk and numerous weaknesses.

>tl;dr Beedrill can work as a crit abuser if it gets two free turns to set up but it's horribly outclassed by Kingdra

This is the best set for beedrill that I've used.
Though you could also consider knock off as well.

A lot of people suggest critdrill but honestly beedrill doesn't have the bulk or the speed to pull it off.

It's a situational and garbage move. Offense teams easily revenge kill Beedril with fast mons or priority and defensive teams always have a counter to shut it down. The amount of work it would take to make Beedril even slightly viable is better spent on a different Pokemon.

This is a huge pile of lie.
The only people who say this is some dummies who expect making beedrill do something like OHKO COOL BADASS MOVE LOL! SUCK THIS TYRANITAR!
Bee can be usable with some help and nice strategy.
I made all my mons (like Dodrio or Garbodor) usable and tested them many times.

They should at least make every FE pokemon not utter shit.
Gym rematches show that they consider this at least, with some having the same pokemon but now with a perfect moveset, along with an ability and item that compliment it.

Each pokemon can be customised to be either crap or excellent...technically. Some just need the stats to make use of their setup, and thats what they should do in the games.
