I just got a 6IV Aegislash, but it's Quiet. Speed doesn't really matter.

Should I keep trying, or just stick with it? This is for the Battle Maison by the way, so I don't know how much the Speed will matter.

No, that's actually perfect. Speed doesn't matter much with Aegis, you're right, and it /can/ help to do things like outspeed smash a slightly weakened Relaxed TTar before it can Crunch you. Either way, min and max speed are both situational, but that Aegis is great.

I think most of the times Aegis works better slower in the maison for me. My build is sacred sword, shadow sneak, swords dance and kings shield. I try to always stay in shield stance. And if you're slower and play after them, you'll get hit in shield force and hit them after so you're not too exposed. Next turn you king's shield. With leftovers he's godlike

quiet is the best nature for aegislash because it doesn't want to lower its bulk or offenses use this set

A slow aegis can be good.

You'll take hits as a shield and dish them out as a sword. Assuming you king's shield all the time.
