For those of you who've used Riolu/Budew/other 1st stage friendship evolutions, how long after capture does it usually take for them to evolve? I'm talking just from regular gameplay, no spamming berries/vitamins.

Caught them at lvl 5-7 usually evolve around 17-23

Yep, sometimes it takes aaaaaaages. Keep them in the top six and keep levelling them up. They'll evolve when you've given up hope.

well tkiss is my biggest bro
the fastest way to evolve it (assuming you're playing XY) is to give it a soothe bell and cruise around lumiose tower for a while
alternately, if you already beat the game, go to VR and fight 1 battle. put him in front and switch him out right away, he'll gain like 10 levels at once

Level 1 Zubat in a luxury ball usually evolves into Crobat shortly after Golbat - I.e., level 23-25.
Training Happiness normally means it can happen at level 19 from constant walking around, or as late as 35

You don't really need to level them up all that much. I've gotten a bunch of friendship evos at level two. Just give them a soothe bell, keep them inn your party and walk around for av while
