but it does do half damage to anything not ghost type (2HKO) I realize it wouldn't actually kill anything in two hits though. I'm not a bandwagoner I've seen this thing on ladder a few times and thought about how good follow me is for redirection

the point of using pachi is teamwork/ is not lol spam follow me, he had pachi because it helps gyarados/talonflame to redirect electric attacks, gothitelle so shadow tag traps paralyzed pokemon, super fang for weakening what other mons cant ohko.

still not sure about his gardevoir role on his team.

so why not use amoonguss? it resists electric attacks too and has better bulk. follow me is the selling point of this pokemon, it ignores safety goggles and grass types that would be unaffected by amoonguss's rage powder

basically everybody would be prepared for amonguss, so at the end he thought pachi could fill in the same role and caught a lot of people unprepared for it

its the kind of pokemon that was just a great anti-meta substitute for amoonguss, I doubt amoonguss usage will be as high in the future which means it will be easier to use, less safety goggles and shit. hence no reason to use pachy. also, next year we'll potentially get togekiss

The main reason why it was "mighty" was because the opponent wasn't expecting an electric type, let alone an electric rodent, to be used the way that Pachirisu was.
