I dunno if I'd call Greninja the best gen 6 palette-swap, I think Sylveon and Klefki blow it out of the water. The new tongue just looks a bit too out of place for me, and its cool skin-details get lost in the blackness.

Got a shiny Torchic (Naughty, Blaze) off the GTS for a Xerneas on Friday. Also got a shiny Haunter for a Lugia that I got off the GTS for one of my several Groudons, so that was nice. Traded it to a senior in college who still hasn't beaten X and only uses ghost types.

its best stat was attack, and its special defense and speed were miserable

Current hunts: MM shiny Adamant poochyena with ice fang, fire fang, and play rough. No moxie unfortunately. Also horde plusle or minun because I love me my useless shiny trophies

Most people hoard boxes of eggs and mass hatch them all at once, but I think the one you saw was where you collect 5 eggs, hatch 3, collect 3 more while the other 2 hatch fill up your eggs and repeat.

I also didn't have Bank when I finished my living dex so I didn't have room for the eggs anyways. I didn't end up getting Bank until I had 3 spaces left in my PC. I plan on doing a lot more SRing now though to make the most out of it.

The charm adds +2 to the top number of the fraction. So if the usual shiny encounter rate in XY is 2/8192, the charm makes it 4/8192, and when MM'ing, it goes from 6/8192 to 8/8192.

6/ to 8/ isn't a terribly huge difference, though. The former makes a shiny appear in 1 out of every 1,365 or so eggs, and the latter makes it 1 out of every 1024.

Stuck on a Virizion SR and am up to about 500, I hope you get yours soon :( The thing that sucks about SRing for legendaries is that you just don't know at all, you could get really lucky unlike MMing which can get the probability cut with shiny charm or whatever.
