>>20569058>not based 3DS XL ownerUnlike the 3DS, the XL's 3D indicator doesn't have a stupid light on to remind you of a feature you probably aren't using, and its slider can lock in the Off position. On the 3DS, you can slide it off too, but there's no indent to keep it from sliding up if you move your hand just the wrong way.
I own both the 3DS and XL and the only thing I miss is that carrying an XL in my pocket is a little more of a nuisance and my DS Lite pouch is too small for it. Screen size, battery life, keeping the clamshell and the feel of it in my hand is best with an XL, but I won't begrudge the preferences of others.
