I doubt they'd do another special styled after Origins since it'd reveal the whole plot of the games. So I guess a trailer like BW2 would be most likely as it wouldn't reveal much to people new to the games/Hoenn.

You have great taste OP. That's pretty much what I would want, though I wouldn't mind Brendan either. Of course more than anything I'd prefer an Origins like special to follow the plot of Emerald but you can't have everything.

I never liked Brendan as the protagonist. I think kids wouldn't know the plot.

Like I said, there will be people that are new to the series or Hoenn when playing the games, especially if you take into consideration that Gen 3 started over 10 years ago. And it wouldn't make much sense to release it after the games, since the trailer and special were made specifically to build up more attention and hype for the games.
