So I'm playing Yellow so I can get a team up for Stadium, and holy shit did GF program the AI to predict your moves? I fought the first battle in Erika's gym and this happened:

>Bellsprout used Sleep Powder!
>Pokemon is asleep!
>use poke flute
>Bellsprout used Sleep Powder!
>use poke flute
>Bellsprout used Stun Spore!
>use paralyze heal
>Bellsprout used Stun Spore!
>"well fuck it, if he's just gonna spam status then might as well just attack"
>Bellsprout used Wrap!
>switch
>Bellsprout used Sleep Powder!
>use poke flute
>Bellsprout used Stun Spore!

After that battle finished I brought out my Alakazam and wiped the gym clean, but still. Using a different move the turn after Wrap should be impossible. RBY's programming should be cracked open by now; can anyone confirm if there really is AI that can read your moves, or if I just got horribly unlucky? I do know that the AI has infinite PP so it wouldn't be surprised me if they're programmed with other sorts of fuckery.
