Event Islands making a return

Sup /vp/. I'd like to make an argument for ORAS having proper events as opposed to the 'here you go, thank you qt3.14 delivery girl' style of getting event pokemon we have now. Now I'll preface this by saying that it's still unlikely, but I believe we shouldn't be so quick to say for sure we're not getting event islands.

To start with, we need to understand what the events were. The following were all exclusive to emerald/frlg aside from southern island which also appeared in rs. I'm basing my argument off of the assumption that they'll be adding emerald exclusive features into rs. Now I'm not saying we'll be getting the whole Groudon VS Kyogre scene but I can definitely see the Battle Frontier being included. It's such a big feature that GF would have to reach an all time low in order to not include it. Now that said, I wouldn't expect this feature to be revealed till closer to release, where the marketing campaign will be in full force. Also, that's quite a conveniently placed cloud where the Battle Tower/Frontier was isn't it?

-Southern Island, catch opposite Lati@s
-Navel Rock, catch Ho-oh and Lugia
-Faraway Island, catch Mew
-Birth Island, catch Deoxys

Now southern Island is located towards the south of Route 134 and Slateport City, although a little more to the east. We can clearly see this in the ORAS map. My assumption is they're dealing with the roamers in the same way they did the birds in XY, namely you chase them a couple of times around the region before they rest at southern island where you can go and fight them normally like any other stationary legend. Whether or not we'll also get their mega stones remains to be seen, as we don't know yet whether GF wants the mega lati@s stones to be event only or if they're willing to make it obtainable normally in future games like with mewtwos mega stones.
