No. I've got nothing against Robin Williams. I just find it strange that they want a japanese company to honour a dead foreign actor in their game. It's cool that he liked pokemon. But really, plenty of people like pokemon. Not to mention that robin isn't a tree.

Why not Hulk Hogan? He loves Pokemon and he could be *gasp* the first actual dad in a pokemon game and also a Move Tutor for every single fighting type move in the game. You will finally have a reason to go back home often.

If they make Robin Williams a NPC in a Pokemon or Zelda game there will come a time when children only know about Robin Williams as a video game character.

On playgrounds they will share urban legends like "hey did you know Professor Robin is based off of some dude who killed himself lol? my daddy told me" and no one will believe them.

Robin Williams' decades-long legacy will be reduced to a low poly character with five or six lines. If you truly care about him, is this REALLY want you want for him? Is this what we do to men who succumb to mental illness?
