Does Monster Hunter ever actually let you kill anything that big? From what I've seen the enemies are just "pretty big", not "Colossus that fades into the sky".

If this happened, I'd much rather prefer existing monsters getting a subspecies to resemble Pokemon.

Like an Yveltal styled Rathalos.
Zinogre styled after the other Musketeer trio with vanilla Zinogre being Cobalion.

I think it's pretty likely we'll see crossover events featuring pokemon in 4u. I mean, we've had metal gear, jojo, and snk crossovers before, pokemon sounds reasonable.

Onix/Steelix as the Agnaktor type that burrows into the ground. Almost all physical attacks bounce off unless you use water weapons for Onix/Fire for Steelix to soften its armor.

Garchomp as Diablos. Sinks into the sand before flying towards you like a missile, charges at you constantly.

Charizard as Rathalos. Flying around all the time, fire balls everywhere. Flamethrower sets the ground on fire for some period which limits your movement making the fireballs that much harder to dodge. Instead of a flash bomb, you can throw a stone at it to make it drop to the ground.
