Earth doesn't care about pollution.
Poisoning the ground or dumping shit on earth does nothing to do. Poison is not very effective on ground at BEST and does no damage at worst. Look at landfills.

Poison/pollution of the earth affects only the life that lives on it negatively, which is why grass is particularly weak to poison.
