Some Pokemon (mixed attackers, mostly) benefit from having 6 31s across the board. These would also be considered hexaperfect because all 6 of their IVs are perfect for that Pokemon.
A pentaperfect as 5 of the IVs perfect and one that could be whatever. A Nidoking with six 31's would only be pentaperfect, because the Attack IV isn't 0. Similarly, a Nidoking with 31/0/31/31/28/31 would also be pentaperfect, because the only stat that isn't perfect is Sp.Def.
It's really not that complicated.
