I recently attempted somewhat of a pseudo-nuzlocke on Colosseum, Permadeath and one had to flip a coin to win the right to capture any particular Shadowmon. It was jolly good japes I have to say. Even if there were a few sad moments of solace after the death of one of my compatriots. I'd recommend it to any chap up for the lark.

I loved them. It was more pokemon, in a different new format and plot, but still similar enough to the main games to not run into an unliked genre. Basically impossible to go wrong.

I really want a new one for Wii U but I think the low sales dooms that idea. I sort of doubt Pokken Fighters is it.

Colosseum had the better atmosphere, but GoD had the better everything overall. Especially the balancing, my god was it shit in the first game.

Well I guess that comes with the package.
His character is based on dancing. The name and hair comes from disco mirror balls. Ludicolo is also a dancing Pokemon having all of it's Pokedex entries talk about how it dances.

I like them for focusing on double battles, Mt. Battle, the more difficult AI, and the completely different atmosphere. I thought shadow pokemon were a really cool idea that deserved better execution. It's a shame that the Colo/XD series got dropped like a hot potato instead of getting refinements.

Im actually replaying Colosseum right now at maxed settings with Dolphin emulator; looks pretty good for a game almost 10 years old.

My only regret is that there aren't more Pokemon to snag.

I got Gale of Darkness when it came out but got bored. Back a summer or two ago, I made a new file and snagged all the 'mon. Easily pretty fun and enjoyable, even went through Mt. Battle 3 times in order to get the special Johto starters.

I got Colo in 2004 but that was during my Action Replay days and I basically made the game easier (Master Ball on everything). Glad I played Gale legitimately.
