I've never used either since catching Latios in Emerald.

I can't imagine why they both need a mega though, they're almost the same Pokemon.

Latias is my second favorite Pokemon. I won't be using its mega, because it's bland as fuck. I'm just grateful it is one of the few whose mega is not fugly as sin.

So am I. Either that or they were a test to see if new megas could be added into the game after the copies were made. The maintenance period in November is probably going to add the ORAS megas to X/Y.
