I've said it once and I'll say it again, gamefreak got lucky with pokemon and it's lack of competition. Hopefully youkai watch is successful so gamefreak has to get its shit together.

I'm breeding one of these for my sun team and the fact it doesn't learn solar beam is the worst shit.

I'm assuming they don't want it to be TOO good in a sun team because solar power life orb solar beam would fuck any water type that'd be a threat, especially with the decent speed on it.

People saying that Helio is not good just need to use it where it was meant to be. In Doubles. Pair him with CharY and rape faces. The beauty of it is, CharY DOES learn Solar Beam and he can take care of a lot of the threats that Helio faces. What's even better is that CharY is going to attract a lot of attention and a nice solar power life orb Helio can take one by surprise.
