Game Freak, the whole company, is actually just an elaborate social experiment to find out exactly how much bullshit a fanbase can put up with before they abandon the franchise.

Every seemingly stupid or pointless action they've done is actually expertly engineered and calculated for the sole purpose of pissing the fans off just a little more. And every time the fans just keep coming back.

Challenge Mode was actually pretty decent. Gym Leaders get one more Pokemon and better movesets overall, and I'm reading that the Elite Four's gonna be brutal (haven't gone that far yet). I just wish your Rival only followed suit and had a better team.

I'm still stuck at Elesa, slightly underleveled.

I did W2 with Challenge Mode on (got the key from my brother) and using a mono-poison team. A lot more fun. I was so sad it wasn't in XY, and I hope it is back in ORAS and unlocked from the start.
