This is an idea I'd definitely be up for - it would make Secret Power/Nature Power a bit less reliable, but I'm not sure if either of those see any competitive use right now anyway.

I think it would definitely spruce things up for those who play online lots or watch battle videos online. I guess the only downside could be if certain backgrounds are more prone to frame rate drops than the default arena?

They didn't but most of them were just like, inside some cave or changed colored ones. Im pretty sure all of the Gyms in XY have a unique battlefield.

We can choose the battle music, let us choose the fucking BG gamefreak, make it client side and so moves like camouflage and secret power have the same effect in every BG so there's no discrepancy.
