I used to think it sucks because it loses speed, but I've been running a Naughty 4 atk, 252 spa, 252 spe with AV Tyranitar and sticky web support and it works wonders at breaking walls,

Im using this standart set, really hards to stop when you got sand going. Even when uninvested it already has bigger attack than regular Chomp, with an very good base 120 sp.attack.

I used mine with a Smooth Rock Hippowdon, Eq is your main STAB here, Draco Meteor to break down physical walls and Fire Blast to handle steel types with high defense. Stone Edge is also a good coverage and gets further boosted by sand
