I used to but I got over it, I'm just anal as fuck now about having 2 Pokemon that have megas on my team.

For example if I have Gengar with a stone, I'd refuse to have a Houndoom or something.

I'm the opposite, I remember back when I went through Black2 that I had 5 bugs in my team, mostly because I liked them and that also adds some extra challenge to an already easy game

No, I used 2 poison types, 2 dark types, 2 ghost types, and 2 dragon types (was 2 water types before Skrelp evolved) and I had a lot more fun because I got to use Pokemon I liked.

I've been anal about my teams' weaknesses but not their types. It's better to do it that way since sometimes a Pokemon of the same time don't share any weaknesses. Sometimes a Pokemon of a particular type doesn't even HAVE that type's normal weaknesses. Anyway I always try to aim for 2 resists to every type since I play Set instead of Switch in single player. Sometimes I'm off but that's the aim.
