>>20643555It's not that Ice is a shitty type. It's just that types that have the advantage are either very common (Water and its resistance to Ice) or very popular (Fighting, Fire, and Steel, not helped by the repeated starters with two of those in tandem).
Offensively, it has some pretty great advantages. Grass doesn't seem so popuular competitively, but it's still great for Dragons, who are otherwise pretty defenisvely tough aside from Fairies and other Dragons, and Flying, which are otherwise useful and hard to avoid using. Considering that Dragons are still incredibly popular, and Dragons often share types with Ice's other strengths, it seems like it might sometimes be worth the risk.
Only resistant to Ice, though? Fucking hell.
