I've been thinking about breeding one, does anybody have any experience with Mega Ampharos? Is it any good?

stupid strong, but get's walled easily.
Also needs at least 1 agility to sweep, maybe 2.

If your looking to play singles with it go agility and even then its meh. In doubles however its a monster under trick room

I actually run a Bold max HP, max Def as my defensive wall and it's working surprisingly well.

It' fun to switch in to fake-out users and take like 10 % damage tops and paralyze them with static to boot.

And if you mega-evolve you can take stuff like Mega-Aerodactyls EQ and 1HKO back with Thunderbolt

It's pretty great, in all honesty. But I'm already biased towards Ampharos as a Pokemon, and only used the Mega because I was already intending to use it on my Team. I hadn't otherwise expected to use Megas very much.

It's gonna be so much better with mega sceptile out, people are gonna send it in on a thunder wave expecting a boost then get paralyzed because of Mold Breaker.
Speaking of mold breaker, it ignores sturdy as well which makes it great for OHKOing Skarmory with T-bolt and rock/steels with focus blast

Mega Ampha is really good once you get it rolling but its slow. From personal experince, Ampha is good in doubles when it has someone who's faster and stronger alongside with it or just use TR.
If you want preferences, take a look at mines.
He's not fully leveled but i hope you get the idea.

I run Heal Bell, Cotton Guard, T-bolt and Dragon Pulse.

Cotton Guard is great if you have wish support. Otherwise I'd go for volt switch for momentum.
