Rock-types aren't doing shit. The closest thing Talonflame has to a counter is Aegislash and Bulky Landorus-T. And even then, Aegislash can't take a banded Flare Blitz and Landorus has to watch his ass for Will-O-Wisp and U-turn. You can revenge-kill it, absolutely but even if all is right in the world, the mother fucker could just calc and see whether or not Brave Bird kills and just switch out.
There are 4 Talonflame sets:

You can't even CHECK all of those sets. You can say Rotom-W, but Liechi Berry says otherwise. At least one variant of Talonflame is going to fuck you sideways no matter what you do and the others may be manageable for your team, but manageable is just a funny way of saying "if he SDs on this switch, I am fucked."
